Oracle WebLogic server version

How to find Oracle WebLogic server version?

 

Listed are several methods of finding Oracle WebLogic server version

1. Change directory to $WL_HOME/server/lib  then run from the command prompt:

$JAVA_HOME/bin/java -cp weblogic.jar weblogic.version

You will see output like:

WebLogic Server 10.3.4.0 Fri Dec 17 20:47:33 PST 2010 1384255

Use 'weblogic.version -verbose' to get subsystem information

Use 'weblogic.utils.Versions' to get version information for all modules

 

2. Open registry.xml file located in Oracle Fusion Middleware home $MW_HOME then search for 'component name="WebLogic Server'

Version will be listed next to the component name

 

3. Obtain WebLogic server version from AdminServer log located in $DOMAIN_HOME/servers/AdminServer/admin/AdminServer.log then

search for 'WebLogic Server'.  Output will be similar to:

 

WebLogic Server 10.3.4.0 Fri Dec 17 20:47:33 PST 2010 1384255
